State Distributor Licensing

Network Integration now supports the Ohio Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD) license . See Supporting State Distributor License Validation for more information on Ohio TDDD.

To enable this feature for integration users, grant FLS edit permission to the following fields on the Address_vod object: 

  • Network_Distributor_Entity_ID_vod
  • State_Distributor_vod
  • State_Distributor_Category_vod
  • State_Distributor_Expiration_Date_vod
  • State_Distributor_Status_vod

Creating DCRs for State Distributor Licenses

As part of the integration between CRM and Network, users can now create Data Change Requests (DCRs) for State Distributor Licenses. See Data Change Requests Overview for more information.

For example, Sarah Jones wants to deliver a sample to Dr. Clinton Ackerman at Ohio Oncology, but CRM has no record of a State Distributor License for Ohio Oncology. Dr. Ackerman informs Sarah that Ohio Oncology does have the license and provides the details. She submits a DCR to OpenData to verify Ohio TDDD License information for Ohio Oncology. OpenData verifies and adds the Ohio TDDD License information for Ohio Oncology. The DCR is processed in Network and Ohio Oncology is updated with the Ohio TDDD License information.

Configuring DCRs for State Distributor Licenses

To enable this feature:

  1. Grant network integration users FLS edit permission and all other users FLS read permission to the following fields on the Address_vod object:

    • State_Distributor_vod
    • State_Distributor_Expiration_Date_vod
    • State_Distributor_Category_vod
    • State_Distributor_Status_vod
    • Network_Distributor_Entity_ID_vod

  2. Create DCR_Field_Type_vod records on the following fields on the Address_vod object. It is not required for all fields to be added as DCR Field Types. See Configuration of DCR Controlled Fields for more information.

    • State_Distributor_vod
    • State_Distributor_Expiration_Date_vods
